While Kelton and others (Sera included) might get celebritified around Vicious, Contessa Rubikov speaks her mind, is a true blue friend (and granddaughter) and wears her heart on her sleeve. Still my favorite character after all these years. (and clearly has grown, as the old Tess might have rather jump off the platform rather than come back and ask for help after having stormed off?)
If anyone can humanize Ms. Whisper, it’ll be Tess. Bet they’ll be best of friends after this.

Tess can literally steam when she is angry. I find that an endearing trait and an impressive ability.
Nothing quite like having one of your idols tear apart something/someone you care about. Her grandfather sounds cool.

I couldn’t tell who was speaking in the first panel. Is it the mayor? or is it Tess, being sarcastic?
